Flower of Ukraine
A pastel beige granite of medium-grained structure whose singular character is formed by a harmonious light background and dynamic black inclusions. The visual identity of Flower of Ukraine is built on contrast: a calm, almost milky beige field and sharp, unexpected black dots and splashes reminiscent of ink flecks on a watercolour sheet. This pattern never repeats twice — every slab is a unique natural drawing.
When polished, the beige background gains a pearlescent sheen while the black inclusions become deep and expressive, as if lacquered. Over large clad areas the ‘living pattern’ effect only grows: the surface reads as dynamic and coherent at the same time. Flaming costs the stone its gloss but returns a warmer, softer tone — the beige moves towards ivory and the black inclusions settle into dark grey.
An exceptional density of 2,815 kg/m³ — among the highest in the catalogue — combined with water absorption of only 0.10% gives the material outstanding resistance to moisture and frost. Compressive strength of 180 MPa and abrasion of 0.53 g/cm² support a broad range of applications. Ideal for monuments, facade cladding, staircases and prestige architectural elements.
