Maple Red
An elite fine-grained red granite with a noble carmine colour — one of the most prestigious red granites of Ukrainian origin. The colour of Maple Red is a saturated, deep carmine-red without orange or purple deviation: a pure, monumental red that needs no embellishment. It is this chromatic purity, combined with a fine, dense grain, that makes Maple Red one of the best-known red granites in the memorial and architectural trades.
Polished, the surface takes on a mirror gloss with a characteristic ruby sheen under side lighting — an effect owed to the dense distribution of feldspar crystals without large voids or irregularities. Evenness of pattern is exceptional thanks to the fine grain: cut-outs and profiles come away crisp, with no chipping or ragged edges — which counts above all for architectural details and engraved memorial work.
A compressive strength range of 135–260 MPa and a flexural strength of 31 MPa confirm exceptional mechanical performance. Density 2,650 kg/m³ and water absorption 0.18%. Abrasion of 0.24 g/cm² is the lowest among the red granites in the catalogue. The benchmark choice for monumental memorials, ceremonial staircases and prestige facade cladding.
