Rosso Santiago
A warm red granite with a classic fine-grained structure and an even, deep colour — one of the most sought-after Ukrainian red granites on international markets. Rosso Santiago is the ‘canonical’ red granite: rich but not strident, warm but not orange. An even fine-grained pattern free of sharp inclusions or veining gives the material a classic, stable appearance that works equally well in memorial and architectural applications.
Polished, Rosso Santiago takes on a characteristic warm gloss — not a cold mirror but a deep ruby radiance, especially expressive in daylight or warm artificial light. Batch-to-batch colour consistency is one of this granite’s key market advantages: buyers of large volumes can count on a uniform end result. It works easily and cuts cleanly thanks to the fine grain — which makes it a straightforward material for complex profiled items and engraved details.
Density 2,700 kg/m³ and water absorption 0.22%. Compressive strength 165 MPa, flexural strength 18 MPa and abrasion 0.48 g/cm². Ideal for cladding, paving, memorials, countertops and window sills.
