Granat
A medium- to coarse-grained pink granite whose mineral triad — potassium feldspar, quartz and biotite — forms a uniform yet expressive texture. Granat has a coarse, clearly legible grain: the mineral crystals are large enough to be distinguished with the naked eye — pink-cream feldspar grains, translucent quartz inclusions and dark flakes of biotite together form a natural ‘mosaic’ pattern.
On a polished surface this pattern becomes especially legible: the pink background deepens, the quartz takes on a glassy sheen and the biotite reflects with a metallic glint. Overall the tonality is warm — pink-cream with a light peach undertone that comes across as inviting and natural. A coarse, ‘living’ grain set against that warm pink is what gives Granat its character: not cool, not neutral, but expressive and self-sufficient.
Density 2,650 kg/m³ and water absorption 0.27%. Compressive strength 93 MPa, flexural strength 17 MPa and abrasion 0.44 g/cm². Recommended for cladding, paving, countertops and window sills.
